The following restrictions are to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for an amazing microblading, permanent makeup or microneedling procedure. Please read carefully:

If you are having an eyebrow procedure and typically have your eyebrows waxed, please make sure to schedule your waxing appointment no sooner than one week prior to your scheduled microblading or powdered brows procedure.

If you are having an eyeliner procedure and you have eyelash extensions you MUST have them removed at least one week prior to your procedure.  If you show up to your appointment with eyelash extensions service will be refused and your deposit will not be refunded.

Please do not work out the day of the procedure as body heat will expand the pores.

Avoid heavy sunlight, especially sunburn, 7 days before your procedure. Skin should not be in process of healing before your procedure!

Do NOT drink coffee or anything with caffeine the day of procedure.

Do NOT drink alcohol 48 hours before the procedure.

The following treatments should be avoided within four weeks of the procedure:

  • Botox or other fillers

  • Chemical Peels

  • Laser treatments

If you have any questions about these restrictions, please give me a call! I'm happy to help.

Day 1:

Starting one hour after your appointment, carefully dab your eyebrows every hour until bed time with lightly dampened gauze.  You can use distilled water or sterile water (boiled and cooled water). Right before bed, gently wash your brows with Cetaphil or Dial Gold antibacterial soap.  Use room temperature water to lightly wet your brows.  Pump a small amount of soap onto your fingertips and make suds. you should no longer feel the soap, just the bubbles.  Gently pat the bubbles on your brows for about 10 seconds. Splash rinse and pat dry with clean gauze or tissue. Wait 10 minutes and apply a small about of aftercare by tapping it on the brows. If they look too saturated, use a tissue to blot the excess.

Day 2-14:

Continue washing both day and night until healed. If you have oily skin, use the aftercare only after washing. If you have normal to dry skin, apply aftercare throughout the day as needed, when the brows feel dry. Do not overuse aftercare.

DO NOT get brows wet other than washing. Be careful when showering.

DO NOT take steamy showers.

DO NOT go swimming.

DO NOT expose your brows to the sun.  Wear a hat if you will be outside for a prolonged amount of time.

DO NOT sweat for 10 days. This means no working out.

DO NOT apply makeup to the brow area. Other makeup is fine, but avoid touching the brows with anything but aftercare.

DO NOT apply anything but the aftercare product provided to your brows.

DO NOT get facials and/or peels for 4 to 6 weeks.

DO NOT get botox for 2 weeks.

DO NOT pick the flaking color, this can remove it completely. let it release on its own.

Brows are fully healed at 4 to 6 weeks. During this time, you may notice changes in your brows that can be alarming. They will get darker, shed slightly and then seem light.  The color is hiding underneath a layer of opaque, healing skin. This will go away within two weeks. You may feel they appear uneven at times due to this. At 4 weeks, you can schedule a touch up for $100. The touch up can be performed at 6 weeks and up to 12 weeks. Visit to schedule.

Eyeliner Procedures

  • Use aftercare sparingly, taking care not to clog the tear duct

  • Do not use mascara or eyelash curler (clean w/ alcohol) for three days post procedure

  • When resuming use of mascara, use a new tube to avoid possible bacteria in older tubes

Please wash carefully around the treated area. You may rinse with water and lightly pat dry. While showering, keep the treated area away from the full pressure of the shower head.

Area may be red, slightly swollen and have a feeling of tightness for all procedures. Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post-procedure. Do not scratch the area, gently tap the area to relieve itching. Experience has shown that by following these after-care instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear.

Thank you for following our aftercare instructions and we hope you enjoy your new brows!

Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, excessive redness at the site, swelling, excessive tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odor.
